OAL - 3.315" (newer lots loaded 3.265"-3.275", I haven't tried this slightly shorter length)

Usage - Target
Used in - IHC Garand with standard weight Krieger barrel
This is the load used by Hornady for factory Garand match ammunition. Hornady cases are the same capacity as Winchester. Hornady recommends Winchester primers. This load scored second in testing by Hornady. Vhitavuori powder (46.3 grains of N-135) scored highest but powder availability concerns led Hornady to choose the second most accurate load using Hodgdon Varget powder.
